PURPOSE: A safely device is provided to reduce noise emitted from the vent port and improve the efficiency of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A safety device of the air conditioner comprises; the discharge grill(7) formed in the front panel(2) fixed of the main body(1) and connected with the vent port(6) side from which air is discharged; many wind direction adjusting louvers(8) connected to the discharge grill(7) and adjusting the direction of the discharged air; a safely grid(10) connected to the discharge grill(7) and made of many horizontal shafts(11) and many vertical shafts(12) to intercept matters entering the main body through the vent port(6) from outside. In the discharge grill(7) a sensor(101) is installed to sense matters entering the main body(1) through the vent port(6) and the safety grid is installed to prevent an accident so that it could turn around by the sensing signal of the sensor(101). |
