PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the rotary part including the tension roller, decrease the inertial force generated by the rotation as well as allow the support of the tension roller to exactly follow the swings of the supporter with no displacement to the axial direction in the warp tension adjusting unit. SOLUTION: The warp tension adjustment unit in a loom is equipped with a hollow cylindrical tension roller 30, a rotary spindle 80 supported by the frame of the loom, a pair of supporters that are connected to the rotary spindle 80 and rotatably support the tension roller 30 and the displacement material that swingably displaces the supporters linked to the supporters around the rotatable spindle 80. In addition, the pair of the supporters support the tension roller undisplaceably in the axis direction, as they are fitted at their both edges to both ends of the tension roller.
