PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical pillow to prevent physical and mental pain, and to satisfy conflicting demands for bed rest and freedom, which is structurally safe and of low cost, for a person after an ophthalmic operation, an infant lying in bed with face-down in pediatric treatment, or a bedridden old person, using the pillow for a long time. SOLUTION: This medical pillow comprises a right and a left vertical beam members 8 provided in vertical directions, and a pillow main body support member 10 engaged with the vertical beam members 8 at right and left ends to be suspended at a position between the right and left ends to form a placement surface 10" where a pillow main body 12 is placed, and the pillow main body 12 is detachably placed on the placement surface 10". In addition, the pillow main body has a hole roughly in a corresponding form to an outline form of a face surface of a user at a center, and circumferential edge parts of the hole in the pillow main body 12 to receive circumferential edge parts of the face surface of a user are composed of elastic material.
