PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the biting of a fishing line between a holding member and a rod tube even in cases where a strong bending force is applied on the rod. SOLUTION: In a rod tube 50 made of a fiber-reinforced resin a long hole 50H for introducing a fishing line is formed. A holding member 56 having a hard guide G3 is placed at the backside of the long hole and at a place separated from the surface of the rod tube and it has inclining parts 56K which start to separate to right and left sides at the front side of the holding member of the hard guide and which extend forward to be paired in the direction approaching the long hole. The head of each inclining part has a leg part 56A extending roughly along the longitudinal direction of the rod tube. Letting each of the widths of the inclining part, the leg part and the boundary between the inclining part and the leg part when viewed from side H2, H1 and H2', respectively, and letting each the widths of the inclining part, the leg part and the boundary between the inclining part and the leg part when viewed from above B2, B1 and B2', respectively, these parts are constructed in such a state that at least one of B2/H2 and B2'/H2' is larger than B1/H1.
