PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily carry a foundation block with a hand by forming a handle protruded inward in the state that finger tips can hook thereon, in the vicinity of the upper side edge of a through hole in which ready mixed-concrete is filled, in the foundation block. SOLUTION: A through-hole 1 in which the lower end of a support P such as a fence is inserted and ready mixed-concrete is poured and filled is formed at the central part of a foundation block B for a support. The diameter of the through-hole 1 is formed so as to be tapered off as it goes up. Further, a handle 2 protruded inward in such a shape as the block can be hooked by finger's tips is circularly formed at the upper side edge of the peripheral face 1a of the through-hole 1. When erecting a fence or the like, the support P is inserted into the through-hole 1 of the foundation block B and ready-mixed concrete is poured and hardened to form a concrete molding. In this way, the foundation block can easily be carried with a hand.
