PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-quality films, excellent in uniformity of thickness, and free of antimony-based black-colored foreign matter or recess-striated defects, stably, efficiently at a high speed for extended periods. SOLUTION: This method extrudes thermoplastic polyester melt from a mold into films, makes these films of the molten polymer adhere to a rotary cooling drum surface, after imparting static charge to one side of each film, and rapidly solidifies them to produce the films, wherein the polyester contains antimony oxide, and the molten polymer has an AC volumetric resistivity of 1×106 to 1.3×108Ω.cm and DC volumetric resistivity of 6×108 to 3.5×109Ω.cm. |
