SNOW COVERAGE METER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow coverage meter which has a snow coverage detection means for detecting the existence of snow coverage and is capable of indicating zero on an indicator at the time when no snow is covering in the ultrasonic snow coverage meter. SOLUTION: A preliminary value is determined based on an AGC(automatic gain control) value in the state where no snow is covering, which is compared with an AGC signal value during measuring snow coverage to detect the existence of snow coverage with a snow coverage detection means. When no snow coverage is judged by the snow coverage detection means, the snow coverage meter is constituted to indicate zero snow coverage regardless of the measured snow coverage.
