PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection system by which smooth presentation is executed. SOLUTION: In this projection system 10 including a slide projector 11 forming a picture on a screen 16, a picture operation part 17 showing the kind of operation concerning the picture is formed on the screen 16, and the system 10 is equipped with an indicating stick 14 which is carried in order to indicate the picture formed on the screen 16 and provided with a light emitting part 14a capable of performing the on/off switching of light emission, a CCD camera 12 photographing the operation part 17 on the screen 16, and a controller 13 controlling the operation of the camera 12 and the projector 11 and collecting data photographed by the camera 12. The light emitting part 14a of the stick 14 emits light before one of the kinds of operation of the operation part 17, and such a state is photographed by the camera 12, then the controller 13 controls the projector 11 so as to perform such kind of operation.
