PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the date of next ovulation accurately by providing means for estimating the date of next ovulation based on a measured basic body temperature and an inputted phygiological item data. SOLUTION: The clinical thermometer body comprises a probe 32 having a sensor part 32a for detecting body temperature by inserting into mouth. A display panel 33 displays the date of measurement and measured body temperature, information concerning to measurements such as trend of basic body temperature and information concerning to control of apparatus and information associated with body temperature measurement is inputted from a key panel 34. An estimating means estimates the date of next ovulation based on a measured basic body temperature and an inputted phygiological item data. More specifically, the date of next ovulation is predicted with reference to the last date of ovulation added with a mean menstrual cycle while taking account of a fluctuation if high temperature phase prevails currently otherwise it is predicted with reference to the first day of last menstrual cycle added with mean low temperature phase interval.
