PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic brush electrification member constituted so that the coarse part of a magnetic brush is prevented from being formed, a body to be electrified is prevented from being defectively electrified and abnormal discharge is prevented from occurring, an electrification device using this electrification member and a device equipped with this electrification device. SOLUTION: The electrification member 2 electrifying the body to be electrified 1 by carrying the magnetic brush B at the surface of a carrier 21 and bringing the brush B into contact with the body 1 is constituted so that the surface of the carrier 21 is provided with recessed and projection parts and an average gap between the recessed and the projection parts becomes <=200μm. Thus, since the brush B is formed along the recessed and the projection parts formed at the surface of the carrier 21, a distance (x) between the bristles of the brush B can be set to be <=200μm. Therefore, since the intensity of the electric field formed at the points of the bristles is prevented from becoming too high, the abnormal discharge of the brush B is prevented from occurring. Besides, since it is eliminated that the bristles are formed on the carrier 21 at random and the brush B can be controlled to be coarse or dense, the body 1 is prevented from being defectively electrified at the same time.
