PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase light-absorbing property by forming a structure in such a manner that the dye layers are bonded with each other by non-covalent attraction force, the outer dye layer absorbs light of equal or higher energy than the light absorbed by the inner dye layer, the energy emission wavelength range of the outer dye layer overlaps the energy absorption wavelength of the inner dye layer. SOLUTION: The dye layers are bonded to each other by non-covalent attraction force (such as electrostatic bond, van der Waals' interaction, hydrogen bond, hydrophobic interaction, dipole-dipole interaction, dipole induced dipole interaction, London dispersion force and cation-πinteraction). A single or plural inner dye layers are adsorbed by silver halide particles and contain one or more kinds of spectral sensitizer. The single or plural outer dye layers absorb light of equal or higher energy (same or shorter wavelength) than the light absorbed by the adjacent inner dye layer. The emission wavelength range of light energy of the single or plural outer dye layers overlaps with the absorption wavelength range of light energy of the adjacent inner dye layer.
