PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a heat exchanger in a hot water supply devide. SOLUTION: A hot water supply device comprises a heat exchanger for heating flowing water by combustion heat transferred to fins 18b, a burner disposed above the heat exchanger to heat the heat exchanger and an exhaust fan for forcedly exhausting combustion waste gas by the burner from the lower part of the heat exchanger. Water repellent paint is applied to the lower parts of the fins 18b to perform a corrosion resistant process.
