PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a slip and troubles of a wound fishing line by synchronizing the rotating speed of a pulled-out spool with the moving speed of a fishing tackle caused by the casting motion of a double-bearing reel. SOLUTION: In the casting with a double-bearing reel to supply a fishing line by the rotation of a spool, the line 6 is relaxed or tensioned by the extent of the controlling action of a brake 3 on the spool 5 by the shift of a weight rod 4 caused by the gravitational force of the weight rod 4 and the tension generated by the pulling of the line 6 in the direction (P) and the controlling action is adjusted by the relaxation and tension of the line. The difference between the delivery and the supply of the line can be eliminated by the repetition of the above action to prevent a slip of the spool caused by inertia and a trouble of the wound fishing line.
