PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus for easily transporting and mounting a needle roller, by forming interference fit to bond a constant set of the needle roller with a holding sleeve by a holding plug so that the constant set, holding sleeve and holding plug are integrated as an assembly unit. SOLUTION: A holding sleeve 12 and a constant set 10 of a needle roller between holding plugs 14 are bonded by insertion of the holding plug 14 to form an assembly unit. The holding sleeve 12 and the holding plug 14 are made of elastic material such as nitrile rubber. The holding sleeve 12 is placed on a mating part 18, a setting stem 20 is pressed against ends of the holding plug 14 and the constant set 10 of the needle roller to move in an axial direction so that they are inserted into the mating part 18. Next, the mating part 18 is placed into carrier assembly units 22 and presses the holding plug 14 out by a planetary shaft 26 to insert the constant set 10 of the needle roller into the mating part 18. Accordingly, the needle roller can be transported without costly handling of material and assembly operation.
