PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use zinc oxide-filled addition reaction curing silicone rubber composition which generates little hydrogen gas during storage and is excellent in storage stability and which maintains good rubber properties and which can give a cured material excellent in heat resistance, electric insulating properties and adhesion to various matals, semiconductors and the like and which does not decrease in adhesion even when a high thermal conducting filler is filled and which need not to be redispersed and which gives the cured material high thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical properties. SOLUTION: A zinc oxide-filled addition reaction-curing silicone rubber composition contains (A) a diorganopolysiloxane containing at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule, (B) an organohydorgenpolysiloxane containing at least two hydrogen atoms linking to silicon atoms in a molecule, (C) a platinum metal-based catalyst and (D) a zinc oxide powder surface-treated by tetraalkoxysilane and/or its partial hydrolysis condensate and further contains a high thermal conducting filler.
