PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To machine the internal surface of a workpiece and to reduce the cost of equipment by rotating a cutting edge as moving it in the axially orthogonal direction to a shaft on the basis of the axial movement of the shaft. SOLUTION: This internal cutting device is provided with a driven body 70 rotatably supported by a bearing member 50, a shaft 60 axially movable on the identical center line with the driven body 70 and also inserted therein in a torque transmittable manner, and a cutting edge 82 fitted to the driven body 70 in an integrally rotatable manner and also in a movable manner in the axially orthogonal direction to the shaft 60 by a guiding means 73. A motion converting mechanism 90 for converting the axial motion of the shaft 60 to the axially orthogonal direction is arranged between the shaft 60 and the cutting edge 82.
