PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items compared with a steering system using pins, to provide good assembling workability, and to reduce backlash in a housing. SOLUTION: A fitting 3 using the end of a housing as a fulcrum to rockingly install a housing on a car body is constituted to have a cylindrical engaging member 31 engaged with the outer boundary of the housing and a fitting body 32 having a pair of facing parts 32a, 32a facing one side and the other side of the engaging member 31 and used for installing the engaging member 31 on the car body. A pair of pivotally attaching holes 33, 33 is provided to one of the facing faces 32a, 32a and the engaging member 31. A pair of projections 5, 5, engaged with the pivotally attaching holes 33, 33 is integrally formed by means of barring. |
