PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial ground soil which reduces the stain on a building caused by physical deterioration or runoff water occurring in the case a water purification cake is used, having high fertility retention and buffering force, sufficiently containing an easily decomposable organic matter or soil microorganisms and suitable for the growing of plants on the housetop, etc. SOLUTION: Soil obtained by adding 10-30 vol.% of porous volcanic gravel and 3-15 vol.% of charcoal to soil produced at a water purification plant is made to reduce the stain on a building caused by physical deterioration or runoff water occurring in the case a water purification cake is used, fertility retention and buffering force are high, and an easily decomposable organic matter or soil microorganisms are sufficiently contained. Accordingly, it can be used as artificial ground soil suitable for the growing of plants on the housetop, etc. |
