PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loosely powdered foundation improved not so as to impart an unpleasant feeling and capable of imparting a dry feeling while retaining covering power by imparting air permeability to a conventional foundation having an unpleasant feeling due to getting sweaty esp. in the sweaty season such as summer or the like. SOLUTION: This loosely powdered foundation is prepared by blending (A) a raw material such as talc, pigment or the like which has been used as a basic material for ordinary loosely powdered foundation with (B) mica treated with at least one kind selected from a group consisting of zinc (or its oxide or hydroxide) and/or aluminum (or its oxide or hydroxide) and/or titanium (or its oxide or hydroxide), (C) high refractive index porous ceramics having pits or open holes respectively having 3-900Ådiameter and/or high refractive index porous pigment and (D) superfine particles of an oxide and talc.
