PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide narrow cloth for installing a sheet, in which a core- material holding section is constituted as a lug section close to a circular form having three-dimensional bulges by using a circular core material such as a rope, a braid, other fiber bundles, a cable, a bar, etc., and which can be adapted to application within a wide range. SOLUTION: The woven fabric for installing the sheet is composed of a narrow woven section 1 woven by warp 1a and weft 1b while being used for joining the sheet, a core-material holding section 2 formed at one side edge of the narrow woven section by the above-mentioned weft 1b and a circular core material 3 such as a rope, a braid, other fiber bundles, a cable, a bar, etc., inserted into the core-material holding section 1.
