METHOD FOR SEPARATING AIR INTO GASEOUS OXYGEN AND NITROGEN

FIELD: technology of separating air into components. SUBSTANCE: according to method, part of air flow of lower pressure is subjected to full condensation by successive passing through apparatus which are cooled due to vaporization of liquid mixtures which are taken from cross-section of main column located in different heights of column. Liquid and gaseous fractions produced in aforesaid operation, except productive oxygen, are fully returned back to main column. Application of aforesaid method allows for enhancing value of motive force of rectification in main column together with increasing degree of separated oxygen simultaneously with reducing content of oxygen in productive nitrogen.
