PURPOSE: A stretchable clamp which is formed at least in part of super elastic alloy and has an opening within it slightly smaller than the fast enable portion, is provided for fastening to an article that has a fast enable portion of a predetermined shape and size. CONSTITUTION: The clamp body includes attachment means, which may be in the form of small holes, to which may be applied an external stretching force in a direction and magnitude sufficient to cause the opening to expand elastically to receive the fast enable portion of the article. As the stretching force is released, the opening elastically contracts toward its initial size to clamp upon the fast enable portion. Disclosed also is an instrument attachable to the clamp body for imparting the stretching force to the body. An instrument attachable to the clamp body also is provided for imparting the stretching force to the body.
