PURPOSE: A skin pricker is to provide a lancet having the tip of skin pricker which cannot be re-used CONSTITUTION: The skin pricker includes a spring loaded lancet which can fire at the backward position. The firing device for lancet is connected the projected element laterally from the lancet through a slot in the barrel. A weak connection between the finger and lancet allows the finger(13) to be bent until that connection(16) breaks, thus firing the lancet(1). The finger may remain captive to the barrel(5)
