摘要 Process for opto-electronic determination of the contact reflection on gear wheel tooth surfaces in which tooth surfaces of at least one gear wheel are coated with a marking material. Process includes recording and storage of a first digital image of a contact reflection showing push and pull sides of the gear wheel tooth surfaces, processing of the first digital image to produce a 2nd image with at least part of tooth surface contour, processing of the 1st digital image to produce a 3rd digital image that contains the contact reflection, superposing the 2nd image on the 3rd image to produce a 4th image that contains both the contact reflection and the tooth surface contour to determine the position and size of the contact image with respect to the surface contour. An Independent claim is made for a device for recording a series of digital images of the gear wheels involving one or more cameras (30,32) or recording a large number of images point for a digital image.
