An ordering system of a cafeteria etc., includes a cafeteria etc server provided with a menu file 1, ingredient file 2, etc. and terminals PC for use by customers, connected by a network. Orders are placed by the customers by accessing the server from the terminals PC. The customers select the food they want from the menu based on information read from the menu file. The information concerning the food to be cooked that day and the quantity thereof and the ingredients which have to be ordered and the quantity thereof is successively updated in accordance with the orders from the customers. |
