PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate generation of indentation in a plate material and generation of damage in a metal mold, by preventing interposition of punching refuse with the plate material by the upper/lower metal molds in a bending work machine. SOLUTION: A system control device 63 is provided with a memory part 65 storing a table of a work schedule and a decision part 67 for deciding whether reversing is necessary or not of a plate material W based on the stored table of the work schedule from a schedule number. The system control device is formed by providing a reversing control part 73 for controlling a workpiece reversing machine 7 for reversing the plate material W in the case of deciding its reversing necessary and for rotating the plate material W by a prescribed angle of 60 deg. or more to reset to the former condition in the case of deciding the reversing of the plate material W unnecessary.
