PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program distribution system capable of scheduling the distribution of programs and files in a computer system connected by plural multi-hierarchy, attaining divided distribution by one instruction, simplifying distributing work and distribution management, and preventing the generation of an error. SOLUTION: Prograrns are divided into plural parts and distributed plural times based on program distribution schedule information (from schedular files 12, 22) previously distributed to plural computers (a host computer 11 and distributed computers 21). The distribution schedule information includes plural dates for distributing these programs and program distribution procedures corresponding to respective corresponding dates.
