PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light selective transmission filter which sufficiently suppresses degradation caused by exposure of sunlight and ultraviolet light and has excellent light selective transmissivity; and an imaging element using the light selective transmission filter.SOLUTION: A light selective transmission filter has at least a near-infrared absorbing layer and an antireflection layer. The near-infrared absorbing layer contains a near-infrared absorbing dye and a resin component. The antireflection layer is arranged on the near-infrared absorbing layer. The total number of the antireflection layers is 1 to 3 layers or the light selective transmission filter contains a layer of which a surface roughness (Ra) satisfies a relationship of 1.31≤Ra as at least one layer of the antireflection layer.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
