PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sulky type rice transplanter capable of smoothly turning and giving an excellent front field of vision to an operator sitting on a operating seat. SOLUTION: This transplanter installs an engine (E) and a transmission case (15) interlocking and connected to the engine (E) mounted between the left and right front wheelsdriving pulley (P1) mounted on the side of the prescribed engine (E) and a passivepulley mounted on the side of the prescribed transmission case (15) are installednearly in a same vertical line, and installing a belt transmitting mechanism having atension clutch between the both pulleys, a clutch pedal and a clutch lever 79 tooperate the connect and disconnect action of the tension clutch are mountedadjacent position of the prescribed belt transmitting mechanism.
