PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for heat sealing packaging material which prevent the occurrence of a wrinkle or false adhesion and ensure reliable heat sealing. SOLUTION: The heat sealer for packaging material is provided with a built-in halogen lamp 20, an infrared heater 14 for heating a line to be irradiated by radiating in a line shape infrared rays on the vertical seal part L of a film tube T, and a pressure nozzle 22 for blowing compressed air on the line to be irradiated for pressurizing the line immediately after the completion of heating the line. The tip end face of the pressure nozzle 22 extends along a receiving panel 10 in a condition where the tip end faces the receiving panel 10. The tip end face of the pressure nozzle 22 is provided with many nozzle holes, which are so formed that compressed air blown out have a constant directionality, and which are distributed in a line at constant intervals. |
