PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable musical tone parameters relating to many timbres to be edited without preparing a plurality of edition apparatus, edition programs, etc. SOLUTION: When a user edits or inputs the information to define the musical tone parameters by using a mouse 209 and keyboard 210 of a client machine connected to the network via a network I/F 203, the information is sent to a server machine via the network I/F 203. On the other hand, the server machine forms the musical tone parameter in accordance with the information and returns the same to the client machine. |
