The module (M2) has a first power electronic unit at high potential, a second power electronic unit at low potential and a transformer coupling the two units with electrical isolation. The first unit and the connected transformer current connections are mounted in an essentially square insulating housing (10) with an earthed conducting coating on its top, base and closed front surfaces. Current connections to the power electronic units pass through the side surfaces (14,15) of the module.
