A method for the realisation of composite cores for foundry casting, comprising the moulding of partial cores (2), disposing and connecting them in a side by side lined position with respect to a longitudinal direction (z). On the coupling surfaces (4, 5) with the other adjacent partial cores, the partial cores (2) are provided with transversal surface material removals (8) independent from each other and facing each other on assembly of the partial cores, so as to form corresponding cavities (9) of predefined form. Sand, amalgamated with a suitable binder, even different from that used for the partial core, is subsequently blown in the cavity (9), so as to form a sand connection insert (10) adapted to reciprocally anchor every single core with its adjacent one so as to form a unitary block. At least some of the connection inserts (10) are provided with an axial orifice (16) defining a casting channel for the introduction of the melted metal by source casting. The invention relates also to a composite core (1) obtained by the above-mentioned method.
|
