SPREADING APPARATUS OF FLUORESCENT MATERIAL FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND SPREADING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A spreading apparatus of a fluorescent material for a plasma display panel and spreading method thereof is provided to make easy the manufacturing process, reduce the manufacturing cost and improve the reliability of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: The spreading apparatus of a fluorescent material for a plasma display panel includes a substrate(10), a movement unit, projection unit(20), a measuring sense(30), a transfer unit(40) and a microcomputer(50). A plurality of feed-through walls(10a) are formed on the substrate. The substrate is loaded on the movement unit and the movement unit moves the substrate toward a predetermined direction. The projection unit projects a fluorescent material(F) between the feed-through walls on the substrate with a constant speed. The measuring sense a trace of the feed-through walls which are varied according to a variation of the substrate and a gap between the feed-through walls and the projection unit. The measuring sense is fixed to the projection unit and the transfer unit transfers the projection unit and the measuring sense toward a proceeding direction of the substrate with a constant speed. The microcomputer controls and transfers a projection speed, a projection length and a moving speed to each system in order to spread the fluorescent material between the feed-through walls.
