PURPOSE: A broiling device is provided to adjust the degree of cooking by the heating power of a heating source. CONSTITUTION: A broiling device can adjust the degree of cooking by using direct and indirect heating methods. The device is formed by:a first perpendicular main wall(11) of a lower plate(1) being heated by the heating power of a heating source; grooves(12) being formed on at least three steps in three parts of the first perpendicular main wall; and a settling projection(22) being formed on the upper plate(2) being a place for a food to be placed. Therefore, the food can be cooked while not being burned by conducting the heat directly or transmitting the heat by convection current according to the location of the settling projection being settled in the groove on the steps.
