Automatic inspection of print quality by an elastic model

The model for the symbol is captured by an electronic camera from a printed image that is considered acceptable, and the image stored to produce a reference image. The image is then divided into multiple sub-images by superposing a fine grid. During inspection the distance from nodes (K1-K5) of the grid is measured (K'1-K'5), and the reference model adapted to correspond to these measurements.
