A roller electrode assembly for a secondary battery has: a separator; an inner electrode which is located on an inner surface of the separator relative to a rolling device; and an outer electrode which is located on an outer surface of the separator relative to a rolling device and has a base plate on whose opposite surfaces is attached an active mass. On a surface in a specific region of the base plate that does not lie opposite the active mass of the inner electrode, no active mass is attached. The specific region has an outermost turn of the outer electrode. |
