PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the energy saving, economy, versatility, and maintainability by arranging a light emission which has an optical fiber, etc., capable of surface light emission almost in parallel to a display plate part. SOLUTION: At the front part of a casing part 2, the display plate 3 which has a light-semitransmissive display surface M is disposed and the light emission part 4 is disposed in an internal space S. The light emission part 4 is equipped with one optical fiber 5 which performs surface light emission. Light source caps 14x and 14y are mounted on both the ends of the optical fiber 5. The light emission caps 14x and 14y each have a diode substrate, fitted with a light emitting diode 6, inside and the light emitting diode 6 projects light on the end surface of the optical fiber 5. In this case, white light emitting diodes are used as the light emitting diodes 6 and the light source caps 14x and 14y are formed of light-shielding materials. The optical fiber 5 is curved zigzag so as to provide the uniform surface light emission for the display plate part 3 and is disposed almost in parallel to the display part 3. |
