PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a transferred rugged pattern from being again in contact with a transfer master disk due to repulsion of a substrate at the time of separating from a mold surface by molding an engagement part, that is engaged with the notch on the mold, on the substrate with the notch engraved on the one mold surface opposing to the other mold surface fitted with the transfer master disk. SOLUTION: The substrate 4 blown with releasing air is floated from a fixed mold 1 and a movable mold 2. Then, an ejection member 6 is moved to the cavity side, and the substrate 4 is released from a movable gate seal member 24, and the substrate 4 released from the mold is carried out. At this time, when the length of the base of the notch 22a is made nearly 10 μm, a tip of a notch engagement part 4a is engaged with the notch 22a until just before the releasing. Since this engagement force is weaker than substrate pressing force by the releasing air and the ejection member 26, the substrate 4 is released easily from the mold 10 without causing large resistance at the time of the releasing.
