PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of optimally controlling exposure by using the transferred photometric value of a remote control device. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with a reception means 102 receiving a photometric value obtained by performing photometry on a remote control transmitter 101 side, a photometry means 106 measuring the luminance of a subject, a decision means 108 comparing the photometric value obtained by performing the photometry on the transmitter 101 side with the photometric value obtained by performing the photometry on the means 106 side and deciding the propriety of the photometric value on a remote control device side, a selection means 104 selecting either the photometric value on the transmitter 101 side or the photometric value on a camera main body side based on the decided result by the means 108, and an exposure arithmetic means 105 arithmetically calculating an exposure control value by using the photometric value selected by the means 104. |
