PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive tester for an assistedly motor-driven bicycle of a low cost capable of reducing the maintenance worker's load by automatically measuring crusing distance, running time and speed per one time charging, and realizing labor-saving. SOLUTION: The drive tester 1 for an assistedly motor-driven bicycle 101 has an electric motor 107, a controller for controlling it, and a power unit 104 for generating an auxiliary power responsive to a detected rider's pedal effort. The tester 1 comprises a pedal clamp 15 for slidably clamping a pedal 110 of the bicycle 101, and a power unit 4 for rotatably driving the clamp 15 by a predetermined driving force. In this case, an output shaft of the unit 4 is disposed by offsettingεfrom a crankshaft 108 of the bicycle 101 in the longitudinal direction.
