PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method and an apparatus in which the influence on an immunoanalysis of a specimen carryover from a biochemical analytical module is prevented when both a biochemical analysis in the biochemical analytical module and the immunoanalysis in an immunoanalytical module are performed regarding the same specimen. SOLUTION: A specimen is conveyed by a conveyance line 3 to the immunoanalytical module 5 or the immunoanalytical module 6 so as to be immunoanalyzed. When its dispensing operation is finished, the speciemen is conveyed to a sample-rack standby part 9 by the conveyance line 3 so as to be on standby until an analyzed result is obtained. When a reinspection is required as a result of its analysis, the sample is not conveyed to a next biochemical analytical module 7 and a next biochemical analytical module 8, it is returned to its original module by a return conveyance line and it is immunoanalyzed again. When the reinspection is not required, a rack is not returned to its original module and the sample is conveyed to the next biochemical analytical module 8 or the next biochemical analytical module 8 so as to be biochemically analyzed.
