PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a know-how utilization system to be used for object oriented development. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a database means 120 for managing pattern information defined by nodes which express a message trace chart, the relation of these nodes and the order of their relation, a retrieval means 13 for retrieving the pattern information similar to utilization pattern information by retrieving the database means 10 when applying that utilization pattern information, and a presentation means 14 for presenting the message race drawing specified by the pattern information retrieved by the retrieval means 13.
