PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent system capable of easily adding a data resource and an agent that accesses the resource and excellent in its maintainability. SOLUTION: An access agent 118 to be added transmits its own access information to a management agent 117. Receiving the access information, the agent 117 decides a specific existing section where the relevant data resource 119 and the agent 118 are added based on the access information and the grouping knowledge (rule) held by the agent 117. Then an instruction is given to a calling agent 103 of a subject section to add a new access agent 118. At the same time, the information necessary for the agent 118 are called and transferred to the agent 103.
