<p>A casing hanger assembly is disclosed which includes a bottom member (10) which centralizes a casing string (70) within a casing head (98) and a top member (50) of a conventional slip-type casing hanger design. The bottom member (10) functions to rigidly centralize the casing string (70) inside the casing head (98) while absorbing any side bending load induced by movements of the casing string (70). The top member (50) set on top of the bottom centralizer member (10), supports and transfers the weight of the casing string (70) to the casing head (98).</p> |
