<p>In an apparatus for texturing an outer surface of an extruded thermoplastic resin article (44), a calibrator (29) includes opposed and spaced apart sections (35, 37) for defining a gap which is determinative of a dimension for the article (44), an extruder (15) feeds a formable extruded thermoplastic resin into the gap, and a mean (31) is provided for feeding an elongated texturing material (33) between at least one portion of the sections (35, 37) and the extruded thermoplastic material for imparting texturing to the extruded thermoplastic resin article (44).</p> |
