PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a pad for a seat having plural sections varying in hardness by changing the amt. of the carbon dioxide to be added to a polyurethane stock soln. according to the sections of the pad at the time of producing the pad for the seat by injecting the polyurethane stock soln. into molds and subjecting the soln. to expansion molding. SOLUTION: A mold 10 consist of a lower mold 20 of a recessed shape forming the front surface side of a pad and an upper mold 22 of an opening/ closing type forming the rear surface side of the pad. A carbon dioxide supply device 16 is so disposed that the carbon dioxide may be supplied to the polyurethane stock soln. by arbitrarily changing the amt. thereof. The polyurethane stock soln. formed by mixing the polyol from a polyol tank 12 and the isocyanate from an isocyanate tank 14 is spouted from a nozzle head 18 freely movable within the horizontal plane above the lower mold 20. At this time, the carbon dioxide of the adjusted amt. is added from the carbon dioxide supply device 16 right after mixing of the polyurethane stock soln., by which the hardness of the pad for the seat may be varied relating to the arbitrary sections. |
