PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device for a water tank not only simply cleaning polluted water in the water tank, but also improving quality of water and easy-to-handle and a wholly compact constitution. SOLUTION: This water treatment apparatus 1 for a water tank is obtained by detachably attaching a case body 3 having a water inlet port 31 for introducing water in a water tank 10 to a driving part 2 built in a pump. The driving part 2 is equipped with a suction hole communicating with the hollow internal part of the case body 3 and an outlet 28 for discharging water sucked from the suction hole by driving the pump to the water tank 10. A great number of filtration members having adsorption ability are installed in the case body 3 and the suction hole is equipped with a magnetization treatment tool for applying a magnetic field to water to be sucked.
