PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a curable composition having good storage stability, not deteriorating the curability and useful as coating materials, adhesives, sealants, or the like, by mixing a mercapto group-having compound, a compound having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds, a radical polymerization inhibitor, or the like. SOLUTION: This curable composition comprises (A) a compound having two or more mercapto groups in the molecule (for example, diethylene glycol dimercaptan), (B) a compound having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds in the molecule, and (C) a radical polymerization inhibitor and/or a radical polymerization retarder preferably in an amount of 0.01-5 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the component B. The component B is preferably a compound having two or more carbon-carbon double bonds, such as the double bonds of (meth)acryloyl groups, in the molecule. The component C is preferably a tertiary amine compound having a cyclic amidine structure or a compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group.
