PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large type printer capable of simply and lightly mounting a heavy and large roll of paper together with a spindle to which the aforesaid roll of paper is wound, over to a spindle receiver. SOLUTION: In a large type printer using a roll of paper 3, at least paired spindle receivers 1a and 1b are provided, on which both the ends 4a and 4b of a spindle 4 in continuous length holding the roll of paper 3 are rested, at least one out of the paired spindle receivers 1a and 1b is so formed at to be capable of being revolved, one end 4a of the spindle 4 is rested on the rotatable spindle receiver 1a so as to be revolved around one spindle receiver 1a acting as a fulcrum, and the other end 4b of the spindle 4 is thereby rested on the other spindle receiver 1b.
